NURSE AIDE COURSE DESCRIPTION
Georgia Training Center offers Nurse Aide Training program (CNA). Nursing Assistants (CNA) can be employed at a doctors office, personal care home, hospital, nursing home, rehab and much more. They provide care such as taking vitals, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding and much more.
Once completing a state certified program they would qualify to test for State certification.
Our nurse aide training program has been approved by the state of Georgia through the Department of Community Health.
NURSE AIDE COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Students must be a US Citizen, at least 18 years of age, and have High School Diploma or GED
Students must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
CLEAR Criminal Background Check
Negative Drug Screen
Valid Government Issued ID (Driver’s license)
Social Security Card
Negative PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
Able to pass a physical exam
TUITION INCLUDES:
Textbook and workbook
TB Skin Test
Background Check
Drug Screen
Liability Insurance
BLS certification
All medical supplies needed for the course
NOTE: All students are responsible for the cost of their physical exam, uniform and state testing fee.
