6 Week Nurse Aide Training Program

NURSE AIDE COURSE DESCRIPTION

Georgia Training Center offers three different CNA programs of study, Traditional, Blended and Weekend. Please see below a description of each. CNAs are commonly referred to as a Nursing Assistant, Nurse Aide, Patient Care Tech (PCT), or Patient Care Assistant (PCA). Please note that the only certification currently by the state of Georgia for a nurse aide is to become a certified nursing assistant. Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Nursing Assistants can be employed at a doctors office, personal care home, hospital, nursing home, rehab and much more. They provide care such as taking vitals, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding and much more.

Once completing a state certified program they would qualify to sit before the board to become certified.
